If i don’t know the name of the owner and the recepcionist or their assitant take the call just said:
when you put the word account, service or something like that, you proyect like you have an existing relationship, you need to sound like you’re from an existing account, not like a sales person
If they ask where are you calling from just said the name of your company, Example: “Hey is JGC Synergy they should be familiar with us, I”ll hold, thank you ”, Always take the control and don’t wait them to say “let me check” or things like that, if they ask for what the call is rewarding said “Just tell him I am calling regarding theFacebook Ads Account”.
If he/she try to find out more just never try to pitch them what you are calling about, because is a waste of the time, the gatekeeper don’t have any kind of decision in this, just you can said: “Look I’m calling form the facebook ads account keep it nice and vague are they in, I don’t mind holding, Thanks” or “It’s better to talk with him, I don’t mind holding thanks”, Don’t give too much information
If they ask from what company are you calling you can said “He/She should know why I’am calling, you can tell her/him it is X from JGC Synergy, I can hold a moment while you transfer me”. Always have the control.
If the gatekeeper said that the person doesn’t know you, you can said “ Really? Tell him bout it’s about the email that I sent him last day/Week”
